The Gayatri Mantra originated over 5000 years ago and is one of the most revered Vedic mantras. The Gayatri signifies wisdom, the energy of the Sun, the expansion of inner light and the turning of our focus towards inner development. For these and other reasons, the Gayatri Mantra has been taken on in parts of India as the mantra to facilitate and unification and development of the Transformational Movement. The 24 syllables of the Gayatri Mantra are Om Bhur Bhuvaha Swaha, Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhi Mahi, Diyo Yonah Pratyodhyat.
