The Upper Valley Timebank
The Upper Valley Timebank is a community exchange network. Timebanking is a way to exchange skills and resources within our community without using money. It is also a way to learn skills, help your neighbor and develop community.
On the website, participants can post needs for help with things like stacking wood, child care, a ride to work or cooking lessons. Once these needs are posted, participants can respond. The recipient of the help credits the time donor with hours in the online system.
It is possible to spend Timebank hours without having earned them. Your account will show a negative balance representing the amount of time you "owe" the community.
To join the Timebank, create a new account. You can browse through the service ads before joining by selecting the tab at the top of the page.
