Transformational Capacity Assessment Surveys

The Transformational Approach to Social Change can be applied to the field of organizational development through evaluating the ability of an organization to bring about deeper personal change in the individuals with which it connects. This “transformational capacity” can be measured in terms of certain characteristics that coincide with organizations with a high degree of ability to change lives. In the following chart, 20 “tranformational characteristics” have been divided into the five categories of unified, open, genuine, inspired and motivated. The Transformational capacity assessment tool divides each of these characteristics into four descriptions that pertain to fair, good, better and best. When taking the survey, respondents are asked to rate their organization both in terms of where they think they are and where they would like to be.
